Witches Daiquiri

Well Booooooo I say!

The Witches Daiquiri, how very disappointing. I believe witches everywhere would be outraged as such a disservice, especially the rum loving ones. In the interests of fairness, the recipe is below but I implore you don’t taint a perfectly spooky Halloween with one of these!

1 oz Havana Club Rum

⅔ oz Strega

⅓ oz Orgeat Syrup (I used amaretto for an almondy boost)

½ oz Lemon Juice

½ oz Orange Juice

Shake everything with ice and strain, but don’t because it’s not worth it! Not even the thrice beloved Strega could save the day.

As a counterpoint to my rage, Sinead didn’t actively dislike it, so maybe I was just being overly fussy? (Between you and me it’s been known to happen).
