The Cloak & Dagger

There is no way it was this yellow, Sinead has altered space and time to enhance the yellowyness and that is definitely cheating.

1 ½ oz Gin

¾ oz Lime Juice

½ oz Simple Syrup

½ oz Green Chartreuse

Shake everything with ice and strain into your glass, a flute is probably your best bet here.

I went with a very beautiful but deceptively voluminous highball. Top up your glass with fizzy fizzy winey goodness

Very daggery with it’s sharpness, and perhaps the cloakyness comes in with the bucket of fizz that I added that got us inexplicably and mysteriously drunk.

I quite enjoyed this, though I am contractually obliged to rave about anything with chartreuse, while for Sinead it was all a bit mehhh. It was good for an experiment and a great excuse to pop open a bottle of bubbly.

Will we make it again? Probably not, did we enjoy polishing off a bottle of fizz? Oh yes absolutely!
