You would think we’d have learnt by now but apparently not, our disastrous cocktail experimentation continues with this weeks mustardy monster.
It started off very pleasant, but after a minute the mustard started to separate and settle, and it got stronger and stronger and stronger until it was entirely undrinkable.
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 ½ oz Bourbon
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 oz Apple Cider
½ oz Lemon Juice
½ oz Sugar Syrup
Shake everything over ice and strain, you definitely need to double strain this through a tea strainer or some such otherwise you’ll get thymey floaty bits in your drink, and the less said about how it looks the better!
It may well work if drunk quickly, or maybe shaken more. If you decide to experiment then let us know!
