The Honey Badger

 

Oh only just got away with my bee connection this week, fortunately I was saved by a very tasty cocktail!

1 ½ oz Bourbon

½ oz Yellow Chartreuse

⅓ oz Honey Syrup

⅓ oz Ginger Syrup

⅔ oz Lemon Juice

2 dashes Lemon Bitters

Rosemary sprig

Strip a few leaves off your rosemary and muddle them with your bourbon for a bit to release the herby goodness. Add your other ingredients and give everything a good shake, strain into a rocks glass with a large chunk of ice.

Very different to many of our recent cocktails, a real citrus hit, I had hoped to sneak a drop of chartreuse past Sinead but dam her taste buds, she can detect Chartreuse from a hundred paces!
