The Weathered Axe

Well we were well overdue a good drink! This went down a treat, sharp, warming, boozy what’s not to like. Definitely give this one a go, if no Cocchi Americano or Lillet Blanc then Dry Vermouth could do in a pinch.

(But I would recommend some Cocchi or Lillet so you can make Vespers too!)

1½ oz Bourbon

½ oz Cocchi Americano / Lillet Blanc

½ oz Triple sec

¾ oz Lemon juice

½ oz Ginger syrup

Shake everything with ice a strain into a rocks glass with a big chunk of ice.

We both loved this, a great drink to settle in with and listen to a great axe murdery story!
