Sharpie Moustache

A cocktail that was better than I thought it might be but not as good as I had hoped.

¾oz Rye

¾oz Gin

¾oz Sweet Vermouth

¾oz Amaro (recipe calls for Meletti, but I did t have that so I used Averna, listen to my Amaora based rambling on the episode for more details)

Stir everything with ice and strain into a rocks glass.

The pic taken is the first attempt with far too much ice, just a few cube will do the trick to provide a slow dilution.

It’s a surprisingly smooth drink, with these big flavours I had expected it to punch much harder but it mellows out well. Probably best for an autumnal evening in front of a fire than a summer beverage, but still definitely worth a go!
