The Bastille

Oh Joy & Rapture! So very tasty! When was the time we had a cocktail this good?

1 ½ oz Cognac
¾ oz Lillet Blanc
¾ oz Bénédictine
2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters

Stir everything over ice before straining into your glass, preferably over a great chuck of ice.

We both absolutely loved this. It certainly packs a punch so beware but it tastes so dam good you’ll definitely want another!

The only downside is that it doesn’t have the most common of ingredients. I would highly recommend taking this to your local cocktail bar and getting them to mix one up to this recipe.
