The Angelic Draft

An angelic wafting through the building this week with the Angels Draft.

1 ½ oz White Rum
¼ oz Yellow Chartreuse
½ oz Lime Juice
¼ oz Agave Syrup
1 dash Grapefruit Bitters
3 Mint Leaves
¼ oz Egg White

To get a nice silky texture with the egg white your going to want to double shake this one.

Add everything your tin and shake everything with plenty of ice.
Strain everything back into the other half of your shaker and discard the ice and shake your cocktail again, before finally straining out into your glass and garnishing with a mint leaf.

I was hoping to sneak some chartreuse past Sinead with this one, but alas no she spotted it a mile off.

The Angel’s Draft is perfectly pleasant, it’s refreshing with a bit of twiggy complexity and not over powered by the mint. I enjoyed it, but then again anything with Chartreuse and I’m going to be a fan!
