New York Minute

Soooo very very good. I’m always happy to break out the maraschino cherry and this was lovely!

1 ¾ oz Tequila

⅔ oz Sweet Vermouth (Punt e Mes)

½ oz Maraschino Cherry

⅙ oz Sugar Syrup

1 dash Whiskey bitters

Stir everything with ice, strain & float 3 coffee beans on top!

With this one you really do need to use an aged sweet vermouth, something like Punt e Mes, otherwise it’s going to get drowned out by the other hefty flavours.

I was surprised how well it this worked with the tequila, as you know I am slightly obsessed with my red hooks and this variation is right up there with the best of them.

There’s nothing too obscure here so hopefully you’ll have what you need to mix a couple this evening, the New York Minute is definitely worth it!
