The Brass Rail

Could have been disastrous, but was actually a damn tasty beverage.

1 ⅔oz Dark Rum

½oz Benedictine

½oz Lemon Juice

⅓oz Sugar Syrup

⅓oz Egg White

1 dash Orange Bitters

As you know my city wide search for Benedictine proved fruitless so I made my own! After much googling and investigation I decided that a combination of Drambuie & Yellow Chartreuse was the way to go I used ¼oz of each.

Shake everything with ice & then strain out the ice and dry shake once again until deliciously foamy.

We both loved this, it’s fab.

I’m going to get a bottle of Benedictine to see if the original is even better. If you are able to make the original then let us know how it is!

P.S Brass Birmingham is a fab non-murdery game of industrial shenanigans that I would definitely recommend!
