All credit to Sinead for this weeks most exceptionally delicious cocktail.
1 ½ oz Irish Whiskey
1 ½ oz Oloroso Sherry
½ oz Lemon Juice
½ oz Redcurrant Syrup
Nice and easy to make, everything in a shaker with ice and fine strain into a beautiful regency cut glass goblet.
The redcurrant syrup is a bit tricksy to find, so another excellent tip from Sinead get redcurrant jelly and dissolve it with a drop of warm water, it did the trick marvellously.
