Crimson Cocktail

 

In the interests of completeness & full disclosure the recipe is below, but I really wouldn’t bother if I were you.

1 ½ oz Dry Gin

½ oz Lemon Juice

¼ oz Grenadine

¾ oz Port

Shake the gin, lemon, & grenadine over ice & strain into a cocktail glass.

Float the Ruby Port over the top of the drink, it’s meant to float..... it didn’t, it sunk, but it was still a lovely layered effect.

The best thing that can be said is that it is indeed delightfully red.

But don’t, just don’t.
